Hi,

I have a license protected WMV file (yes, I own the video)

that as it plays to some middle point of the movie, it will stop by

giving me an error windows with the message saying that the file

is corrupted or the player does not support the format(I use the

most updated version of windows media player and real player),

and I can only watch the later part of the video by manually

jumping to the timeline after that error point. I have talked to

my retailer about the problem but they just always delay to

reply. Here I would like to ask - what is the problem ? and how

can I fix the problem myself ? Download codec?

Hi!the message saying that the file is corrupted...I have talked to my retailer...what is the problem ? and how
can I fix the problem myself ?1) The file is corrupted

2) Exchange the file for a new one from the same retailer

3) avoid DRM'd stuff

4) avoid proprietary formats like wmv
