I bought the CD "Sonnit Popgun" with the advice "Not playable on PC/MAC" but i tried it and the MS Media Player and VLC Media Player can play and copy it to HDD, so the advice is wrong.
But i tried to archive an image of that CD by reading via dd, ddrescue and dd_rescue but they always report errors and can not create a usable image; setting the blocksize to 1 or 2532, 2336 or 2336 and also a skip=1 does not help
It seems there is key2audio on this CD which is no problem for the media players but for dd and similar programs.
So which options are necessary for dd and similar programs to read the CD?

This forum doesnt really cover Audio CD's it might be better to post in a forum that does.

Why dont you try a program that is designed to rip cd's and not create a bit for bit image?

Maybe try ImgBurn aswell.
