Can you increase the video and audio bitrate in the VCD template of TMPG? From what I can see, all the VCD settings are fixed and cannot be changed.
Are there any other freeware encoders on the net that allow you to increase VCD audio/video bitrates?
Thank you,
Vic

Yes, you can change bitrate with TMPG...
After loading template open the "SETTINGS", go to the "VIDEO" part, then in the "RATE CONTROL MODE" you can change bitrate and type of VBR (variable bit rate)...

There is a special unlock template.
After you have choosen your template load the template Extra\unlock.mcf.
After this you can modify anything.

Okay, I tried the "unlock" templete and it worked great. I can adjust the audio and video templetes and still produce a standard VCD file that Nero will accept.
Thank you,
Vic :)
