I'm very enthusiastic about video scripting in general, and Avisynth in particular. I ran across a very cool example of video scripting, where you can type in any name and a video "news report" is created of a fictitious presidential campaign for that person. Here's mine:

There are a handful of places where they've taken the candidates name and inserted it into a video -- a billboard, a bus ad, an IM message and another computer screen shot, and a back tattoo. The IM ones are relatively easy to figure out how they generated them (though still slick), but how do they do the billboard, bus ad and back tat so smoothly? And can Avisynth do that? (I've come to the conclusion that Avisynth can do almost anything related to video, at least some of this forum's experts can).
Certainly not an urgent task, but I'm interested in the techniques, and would love to see an Avisynth approach. I assume it's a greenscreen and some sort of image matrix math, but whatever it is, this site has done it very, very well.
