Hello Guys,this is vamsi
I am new to Dvd Ripping...and im using Megui software for Ripping....
My problem is that my processing rate is so low around 16FPS...while ripping Dvd...
Is there any way to improve processing rate by making some changes in Megui sofware settings..or in my Operating system...
:thanks:

Use faster encoding settings. Look at the profiles.

Faster Processor always helps :)
J_Darnley is on the money, if your quality settings are too high it will encode slower, you have to decide on a compromise between the quality you want and the encoding speed you are happy with, or you could just leave it as is and start your encodes before you goto bed.
Depending on your processor 16fps might not be too bad..... care to elaborate on your machine specs?
What codec are you using to encode your video's?
Keep in mind that xvid does not support multiple cores, where h264 does, here are some examples on encoding a 720x576 Video:
MPG2 130fps
h264 90fps
XVID 60fps
My PC Specs are Core 2 Quad Q9550 @ 2.83ghz 4gb Ram Intel G33 Based Motherboard and Windows Vista 64bit
