Primeval DVD ntsc or pal?

I have recently been watching the TV show Primeval on BBCA. I wanted to buy the dvds since I have missed so many shows, but I don't know which ones I should buy. I will also be converting them to MKV as I do with all of my dvds.

So with that in mind which versions should I get. The PAL dvds or should I wait and get the NTSC dvds that come out next month. Which version would be considered more correct, if either, considering it is a British TV show.

Well I've no direct experience with the discs in question, but I'd say just grab the PAL discs if it's not too cost prohibitive. A British show should have been shot in PAL, so unless there's something specifically wrong you know of with the PAL release that should be the best format to get it in, particularly if you intend to rip. Who knows what kind of blended mess you might find yourself looking at with the NTSC release from the format conversion, probably nothing too noticeable when played back straight off the DVD but possibly a nightmare when trying to make a nice clean rip.

I agree. Every BBC show on NTSC DVD that I've seen (and I've seen a lot) has been field blended. The PAL versions just have to be much better.
