View Full Version : Need advice on Flash Animations + NLE Premier

I’m hoping to use Flash in some of my NLE editing projects for doing different visual effects, mostly pop-ups or character animations. By the way all this will be vector Flash animation, not FLV movies that are broadcasted from websites.

I was wondering what type of pipeline people are using. Is there any integrated way of setting up Flash & Premier to play nice with each other? I don’t want to have to bake my Flash and then bring it into Premier as I want a more flexible setup so if I have to change an edit on some video I can easily update the Flash, without some long winded rendering process.

But since I haven’t done any of this before I don’t know what’s achievable. Is Flash the right way to be doing this or is there another app I should be looking at?

not sure about cs4, but in cs3 i would TRY:

- bring in flash stuff into after effects
- do a composition in after fx
- drop the composition into premiere timeline (from one app to another)

yes, baking is the easiest option probably.

I would try Adobe Dynamic link if it's Production Studio Suite.
