Hi There

I have a collection of MPEG files which I would like to burn into a DVD that can be played on my DVD player/TV. I would like to edit the files, create menus etc. prior to burning it to a DVD.

Can someone please help me with instructions on how to do this and which applications to use.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanking all in advance.

You can follow the "simple" path to commercial software (TMPGEnc DVD Author 3 is a good example) or you can "evolve" to free (open source) software (AVStoDVD).

@savilash

In addition to the suggestions by "MrC", you could use the newest version of (freeware) DVDFlick...

If your using payware, then i would recommend DVD Lab Pro. If your using freeware then i would go with DVD Flick or the free version of Muxman.

@linyx

I don't believe Muxman has the ability to generate menus...

Muxman is great fot authoring without a menu though.

Not "fully" exact... MuxMan, via CLI, can author menu if you feed the complete assets files. BatchMux is a tool that help doing that stuff (used by AVStoDVD and FAVC).
