I just have a weird question related to ivtc and NOT tmpg specific..
I want to make a DivX in NanDub of TheSimpsons (season 1).
Now, I was planning on removing all of the frames in the NTSC release and only use the actual frames they drew, the problem i'm having is the following; when using TPMG to watch the frames you can clearly see some 'interlacing', but they don't look like normal interlaced frames because you can see they used several semi-interlaced frames falling after another to make the drawing look more 'fluently' than it actually is.
Example:
you can see homer's arm moving from a horizontal position to a vertical position in like 8 semi-interlaced frames in a row.
Is it still possible to remove redundant frames altho they represent all the movement and still get that 'fluentness'(don't know how to type that:) that it's got thru interlacing; I want to know this because if I can remove them I can cut mb of final size of the video in like half..:)
I hope that there will be an answer when I return from dinner:)
