What DVD decrypting applications can select individual chapters?

I've been using DVDDecrypter to pull individual chapters from DVDs, but I've bee having problems lately. What other DVD decrypters are available that can pull individual chapters?

I looked at the DVDFab, and emailed their support, and they told me they don't support ripping chapters.

Hi hazel-ra,

DVDFab supports chapter ripping

For "DVD to DVD", you can select chapter range in "Title Start/End Settings".

For "DVD to Mobile", besides chapter range settings, you can select "Split by chapter" in "Conversion Settings".

I emailed DVDFab tech support, and they sent me this reply:

"DVDFab can support to copy/burn the movies titiles according to your needs. Please use "Customize" to see the result.

But DVDFab can't support to copy/burn according to the movies chapters.

Any questions in future, please feel free to contact us."

Is the functionality to extract chapers in the trial version?

I'm actually looking to extract vobs, like you would get from DVDDecrypter in IFO mode. Can DVDFab do that?

It was "Rendition" in US region. I put the dics in, and DVDDecrypter reads for literally about 3 mintues, and finally terminates with an error message about a thread exception or something like that.

DVD Decrypter is not capable of ripping this New Line Home Video release, due to the inclusion of "XProtect" copy protection used on thsi DVD.

You can properly rip it using (commercial) DVD95Copy Pro, (commercial) AnyDVD, or (freeware) DVDFab HD Decrypter, to name a few. Once you've ripped it to your hard drive (Full DVD), you can use good ol' SmartRipper to extract chapters...
