I'm using Staxrip and would like to know if cropping out black bars actually create smaller filesizes when using CQ or improve quality using 2-pass. Also when cropping it seems to mess up the "ERROR 0.00%" setting.
What is an acceptable error and what exactly does the setting tell me?
