Audio delay calculation

Somehow Dgindex calculates and lists an audio delay factor when demuxing the audio.
What is the relationship of the number to the video.
What span of the running time of the movie does the delay apply to?

It means that given where you started the project and saved it (using the default at the beginning or via the [ button), the demuxed audio will require the specified delay to align with the video as served through your script. This delay applies only for the start of the stream and so if the sync changes in the middle of the stream you will have to detect and correct that manually.
