Hi, I want to use this program mainly to get rid of FBI warnings/sneak previews, while still keeping the rest of the menus intact, but despite reading a bunch of tutorials there are some things I don't really understand. Any help would be appreciated.

1) What's the difference between "Blank" and "Delete"? Can either cause playback problems when I play the DVD, if say, it's set to play a bunch of trailers before it gets to the Main Menu?

2) I tried blanking a menu and titleset out of Gone Baby Gone, but on the Main Menu, if I selected Sneak Previews, the DVD player would just hang (Both VLC on my computer and my Sony DVD player). Is there a way I can avoid this? I'd like to make it so that if I try to access something that was taken out, it just goes back to the same menu.

3) Is there a safe way to get rid of certain menus as well as PGCs? Is there a way to stop other menus from linking to a menu I want to delete?

Basically, I'm kind of worried about affecting the playback structure of the DVDs since the first few times I tried using VOBBlanker, I made DVDs that would hang or crash VLC Player if I accessed certain things. Sorry if my questions are really n00b-ish.

Welcome to Doom9 faceless.

1. Please refer to the help file.

DOMAIN: MENUS

General
Deleting a Program Chain means to reset the number of Cells and the duration of the PGC to zero.

Deleted cells:
When deleting a PGC, all the cells not shared with other PGCs are not copied, so they are also deleted.

2. Blanking a menu means it does not have a chance to execute a button. If there are no commands to go on with the nav will hang. Better is to Kill Playback in PgcEdit, converting the cell to a dummy at the same time and cleaning up later with FixVTS or VobBlanker.

3. See my answer to 2. After you have done something in PgcEdit, use trace to the see the ewffects of your action.
