Hi, I'm experiencing alot of problems with Gordian Knot, mostly unsync. IMO, I think gknot is outdatted. Is there any recent app I can use to encode my xvid? I tried MeGui but I don't like all the presets thing...

An app I can set the filesize, kbps, cropping, etc. would be great!
I know there's a lot of threads of this kind of question but I'm getting lost searching ;p!

Thx

It is probably not the fault of Gordian Knot. Is the source material DVD? If so, how are you ripping it?

I'm recording off a dvb card from a satellite source.

Try capturing audio in PCM WAV format if your hardware allows.

Well there is a Sticky (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=129748) that has a list of most encoders, in the MPEG-4 Encoder GUIs sub-forum.:)
