AviSynth 2.5.8: Is it supported by latest DVDRB Pro?

I haven't heard of any problems with it -- but I wouldn't guarantee it.

Should I upgrade to 2.5.8?

Not unless you are using filters and one of them requires the newer version. Also since 2.5.8 isn't out of testing yet -- you may want to consider 2.5.7 if you're certain you want to change.
