I would like to know what each feature does so i can adapt my cfg

I see that -3,-3 is good for fast motion movies like anime and others, any other configurations also good ? ( tested )

Also what buffer size should i use ? bigger or smaller values help ?

Anime gurus would not agree with you. Stronger deblocking is recomended.

--vbv-maxrate and --vbv-buffersize depend on you target (BluRay, DVD, streaming, etc..) and level you set.

What buffer? --vbv-bufsize? You should know that based on the target device you are encoding for. Then you will also know the maximum rate.

My footage is from games, counter strike to be more precise, encoding with ripbot.

DXVA only, no other needs here.

Which is it? DXVA or PC software. DXVA has limitations. I shouldn't have said device, that always throws people off. There is a thread in the AVC encoding forum on DXVA limits and I will post the link in a short while.

Yes... ? Like I said, DXVA has limitations but if you say PC is your target then most people will assume that you are using software decoders.

i like DXVA because of my hd3850 so no software decoders.
