Hi,
Alright, I've done a few encodes before this problem showed up and now I can't find out what is causing it. So after pulling my hair out uninstalling and reinstall software, I just formatted system and reinstalled Windows and the software.
Now I just ran the encode again using MeGUI and the problem is still there!!
If you watch the letter "U" in the word productions of this video, you will see what I mean. When the video starts to fade out, an odd white line comes out of no where. This issue is NOT in the raw video that I'm encoding with.
I've wasted a lot of time on this and really would like to know how to fix this so I can get back to encoding videos. Thanks.

Maybe time for new glasses? Seriously I can't see anything there either.

I don't see it...
Maybe it's the decoder I'm using then.
But I've watched the video on two different computers and both have the issue.
Or maybe it has to do with the video.
Could anyone try download the raw and do a encode? (video is three seconds long)

Yeah it's the decoder. I was able to reproduce it with a bit of playing around. Try updating/changing the decoder or encode without -w/--weightb.

Thanks.
At least it was reproduced so I know what the issue is now.
Seems the decoder has issues when the video overlay of feathers goes over the letter "U".
But what is odd, is out of all the letters, it only has an issue with that one.
What would removing --weightb do?
This is what I have been using:
program --crf 22 --ref 5 --mixed-refs --bframes 3 --b-adapt 2 --b-pyramid --weightb
--filter -1:-1 --subme 8 --trellis 2 --partitions p8x8,b8x8,i4x4,i8x8 --8x8dct --me umh
--threads auto --thread-input --progress --no-psnr --no-ssim --output "output" "input"

Weighted prediction for b-frames; I think your decoder has issues with it, but that would probably mean it's old which is why I suggested updating it.
