Does anybody know of a good 5.1 ac3 audio editor? I know that there are no free ones:devil:, but i still want to try some. I have already tried Soundforge, Reaper, Audacity, Nero Wave Editor; but none of these work directly with ac3 files from a dvd. I just need something that will edit them and save them back to their original ac3 without re-encoding. I have heard about Maven3d but if i can't find a demo, then there's no friggin' way i'm gonna buy it!
Thanks in Advance!

Edit without re-encode only permit very simple changes: delay, cut, fix some errors, change some not basic header values (Dialnorm, dpl flag, ...).

And only know soft to work with the extracted ac3 then you must after remux the ac3 in your container.

I think there are a tool to change DialNorm inside the vob container.

I thought so, i meant something sorta like virtualdub where you can choose something like direct stream copy (for cutting) or full proccessing mode for doing more advanced stuff.
