i have an mkv file 7.9 gbs and i used tsmuxer to make a blu ray structure in order to play it on my bluray player ( samsung bd p1500) but the bluray is now 8.3 gbs large.why such a difference ?
is there a way to avoid it because i cant burn it on a dl dvd

You could use tsmuxer's "Split&Cut feature,and burn to two DVD-5 discs
Or de-mux the video and audio, and convert your audio using a lower bitrate for smaller size then remux....

Rip your original Blu-ray disc again, and choose a smaller size this time. M2TS overhead is large.
