ok, I know that these forums are supposed to be about DVD audio editing, but I really need help.....so here goes:

I've got a video clip .rm (realmedia) from the net. The video clip contains an interviewer talking over some chorale music. I've extracted the audio from the clip and have a .wav file of just the audio. I would like to edit the audio so that I only have the music, so essentially the interviewer talking needs to be cut out. I've tried isolating frequencies to get rid of the talking but it doesn't seem to work well. Is there another way?
The music in the background is NOT commercially available, otherwise I'd just go out and buy the music.
Thanks for any help!!!!

Try Audacity for editing the audio...
