Hi all
I've been having trouble encoding with Auto GK. It goes through the first pass fine. However
during the second pass I get the following error message:
"Cannot open file "<file being encoded>":
The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process."
Through google and this forum it seems that this can be caused by either Norton Antivirus or conflicting versions of xvid being nstalled. So far I've:
*Uninstalled all codec packs except the one that comes with AGK.
*Tried both the latest stable version of AGW and the current beta
*Updated Virtual Dub Mod
*Run with no other programs running
*Left it overnight with a queue, usually gets through the first few then locks.
I also don't have Norton installed and never have. The strange bit is this error seems to come up randomly, not constantly but enough to really annoy me after 1.5 hours of encoding. Does anyone have any ideas?
