I have been using Nero Recode 2 (from the latest 7.11 [or something] Nero 7 release) and (sometimes) Staxrip 1.1.1.0 to encode movies using the h.264 codec. For the most part all seems well and I get great results with the software. However, on occasion I will get an encoded project where the audio is out of synch with the video (and gets progressively worse as the video plays on). I'd like to say this happens more often with older video sources but, that's not always true.
I can't imagine that this is an isolated issue and that others have experienced this as well. Any feedback would be great.
In particular, advice on software settings to remedy the problem, or tools to fix the issue (after the fact) are what I'm after.
