Hi,

is anyone encoding with his/her Playstation 3? My problem is that encoding a HDDVD to BluRay takes almoust a day on my old Athlon X2 3800+. So why not encode the videos with thy mighty Cell Processor of the PS3. Has anyone done this before? Are there even any userfriendly guis for VC1 and H.264 encoding on linux? How easy is it to switch between container formats? Found nothing with the search engine.

Regards

Last I heard x264 encoding on a Cell is in competition for speed with low-end Celerons... :p
