Hey @ all.

I am trying now for a couple of days to backup/recode a bluray (from my girlfriend) to a size smaller than 25GB. Because the 50gb BD-Rs are not cheap at this time!

I have ripped the mainmove m2ts file an edited it with tsmuxer (just leave the streams ill needed). The file plays fine with powerdvd & media player classic.

Now i have tried to recode it with nero vision 5 to a 25GB bluray.

Nero Vision runs a couple of hours an give me an blu ray structure. It plays fine with power dvd, media player c. & (after burning on a BD-R) also on my DMP-BD30 Player.

The only problem ill have is, that every second the movie stucks a little bit. it looks like a frame is missing. This effect i also have with powerdvd & mediaplayer classic. I have take a look at the framrate of the final BluRay with tsmuxer, and it says 25fps.

Ill didnt find any setting where i can adjust the destination framrate in nero vision.

Could anyone help me please?

Thanks

frame is not missing! nero simply inserted duplicated frame. original frame rate is 23.976 but for some reason nero used 25. So from time to time frame must be repeated to maintain 25 fps.

my solution is:
1) forget about nero
2) use ripbot264 instead

Thanks for the info. Ill hate this shit "blasted" nero!

I will try ripbot264. Does it support HDDVD (.evo)?
