hi.
please excuse me as im new to this.
i've heard creating an image and burning is alot quiker process than just burning a avi. file to dvd.
please can someone inform me how to create an image!

Hi!i've heard creating an image and burning is alot quiker process than just burning a avi. file to dvd.If, as you seem to be saying, you are burning the .AVI to DVD as an .AVI (Burning as a data DVD - Not converting it to a DVD "package" of .IFOs, .BUPs, and .VOBs), there is no speed to be gained by first converting the .AVI to an image file. Actually, you'll be wasting the time used to create the image file.
Likewise, there is no timed to be gained if, after converting an .AVI to DVD format (.IFOs, .BUPs, and .VOBs) you wish to burn as a Video DVD. IMGBurn will burn either the DVD "package" or an ISO image file in very much the same amount of time...

yes, maybe you would gain something if you would need to burn the same image trillion times.

ok,
im using convertx2dvd, i believe this converts it and then burns it. so should a 45min vid take as long as 1/1.5 hours??
