Hi,

I'm encoding DVD to Xvid and want to keep AC3, I'm in little problem now, there was some extra stuff at the end of movie which i tried to cut them to get more bitrate, when i made my d2v and check the run time for movie in Avsp the run time was correct but when i check for audio it is 20 min longer, any help on how to solve this prob to get same runtime for both? that save my self from audio sync issue.

Thanks in advance

Edit: I forgot to mention that, where the movie part get end, at the same please audio as well, but when i play the audio in MPC or check it with MediaInfo, it shows about 20 min more run time than video.

Maybe I'm not understanding your problem, but if you removed 20min of video (i.e. "some extra stuff at the end", can't you just cut off the corresponding 20min of audio in an audio editor?

Another option is to encode the video normally, then cut the section off that you didn't want later in vdub or avidemux usind direct stream copy
