How would I get 1080P footage from my PS3 to my Comp?

Hey, I was wondering if there was anyway to get ps3 footage to my comp without any quality loss, or would I need an internal blu ray player for that?

Without any quality loss? A DVI/HDMI capture card. With little quality loss? A VGA/component capture card.

Either way, you'll be paying a pretty penny.

Run Linux on the PS3 and create an ISO image of the Blu-ray disc. Copy the image to a Windows PC and rip with AnyDVD HD. I'm not sure if this is still possible with the latest firmware versions, but at least it used to work: http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=6332

A blu-ray rom drive is about 90€ (including 20% VAT) where I live, so thats probably cheaper than a HDMI capture card.

uhm, install Swiss Army Knife (like less than 1mb) and it can rip to an external HDD or over a network. if you're downloading trailers, you can copy to USB drives...

edit: rip as in copy a non-decrypted ISO (then use AnyDVD HD to decrypt)
