Good way to convert HD MKV to DVD!

Hi guys! Maybe this thing has been already disscused on this forum before, but i've done the search and found nothing concludent. Maybe someone can help me. Here is the problem.
I have a HD movie stored on my HDD (Matrix, 1080p, DTS sound), and i want to convert it to DVD (VOBs, IFO, BUP)...
Any chance that someone knows a good ware to do this conversion??? Without any loss of quality?
I've tried ConvertXtoDVD... not so good...

Ok, thank you guys for replying... but you missunderstood me! The Matrix copy is not quite legal... It's an x264 rip brought down from a site...
I have a Home Theatre (Philips HTS3000), and i want to use a good software to re-encode that 8GB rip (Mkv, DTS Sound, 1920x800, p) to a DVD (4.7 GB) with VOBs so i can enjoy it on my home theatre....
