need help!!!

i recently downloaded some films via www.morpheus.com. on my pc i have the codec divx 4.12. but some films i can't see, although i have the codec (I just can hear the sound!) Who can help me???

I know what you mean. I just posted a thread like this. I have the same problem with all my DivX and DVD movies. I am running Windows XP. If you are too, that is your problem. I'll let you know when I get a solution.

I don't remember having done anything special. Make sure you have installed the latest DivX 4 codec

Maybe it's Divx3.11 so try to install it . I have WinXP Pro and I don't have any problems wathing DivX3 & 4 or DVD's. From time to time I have problem with PowerDVD 4 XP , but that's something diffrent.

@mike97gt - Does you'r DVD's play without picture too . If it is then it's problem with video card drivers (what video card do you have?).

i have an ELSA GLADIAC geforce 2, and i recently downloaded divx4.12, when i want to start the movie with the Playa, he tells me the location i selected could not be opened.

But, is video file DivX4 ?? Try to open it with VDub to see if you right codec installed. Maybe you could install NIMO Codec Pack so that it install filters and codecs.

Hey FFROMS,

I have a Nvidia TNT video card that came with my Dell. The weird thing is the actual card says Diamond on it as in Diamond Viper. I went to install DivX 3.11 but it came up with some hardware conflict message so I aborted. I found out that I can play DivX 4 movies with the DivX 4 codec installed. I still have no video on DVDs, just audio. I tried new XP Nvidia TNT drivers but no luck. I NEED HELP!!! I will go ahead and install DivX 3.11 codec and see what happens.
