I have been a user of rip it for me on XP and I just bought a new computer with the Vista operating system. I can not get rip it (or the package) to work. I get several file set errors and the burn is only a partial or in random order. The movie (after it is copied) is fine and viewable on my computer but it will not burn correctly.
I have the basic rip it package with dvd decrypter 3.5.4, dvd shrink and use nero 8 to burn. I have researched dvd decrypter and the free downloads say it works on older microsoft operating systems like XP but does not mention vista. You will want to know my error messages I am sure but where do I start.
Dazzed and confused!

Didn't you agree to follow our rules when you signed up? Didn't you bother to read them?

Here they are again:

See number 8. Believe it or not, we expect you to follow them!

Hi!use nero 8 to burnIf you are using it automatically from within DVD Shrink, that is likely the source of your problem - as this newer version of NERO apparently doesn't interface/work properly directly with the much older DVD Shrink. If this is your situation, turn off the automatic burn feature in DVD Shrink and use NERO manually...

My problems seem to be in decrypter as I can not get a clean copy to burn. The Decrypter error msge is failed to set data for ' (I get this one 7 times) then I get failed to set data for ' dvd decrypter, then failed to set data for Play dvd movie on arrival.
Thanks!

Are you using RipIt4Me to rip the disk or are you opening DVD Decrypter directly?

Try DVD Fab HD Decrypter.
