Howdy

This is my first post & i'm not quite sure how to explain my problem so please bare with me, I have been using AutoGK for quite a few years & have loved it but in the last few months I have come accross a problem I have been unable to fix.
The 2 DVD's are 'Dreamcatcher' & 'Die Hard 4.0' Zone 4, I am using AutoGK 2.45, & the thing is the first vob file 'VTS_01_1' does not start with the main movie, one dvd has an ad for Warner Brothers (2mins) & the other has a featurette (5mins) on it. So when AutoGK has finished doing the rip the audio & video don't match up & I have ads for warner brothers on my rip of Dreamcatcher. I flagged doing the Dreamcatcher DVD but are now trying to rip Die Hard 4.0, is AutoGK not setup for this? Can anyone help me....

Sorry for the speech...

Pre-rip the disk to your hard drive using one of the free tools available. Two immediate suggestions would be RipIt4Me and DVD Fab HD Decrypter (in Movie Only mode)

You can also use VirtualDubMod to edit the file in Direct copy mode and either edit out the logo or simply offset the audio.

Many thanks, it worked great, just off set the 5.1 audio stream to match up with the video & then removed the extra 5 minutes of **** from the start of the file & all good.

Once again thanks for the heads up on using 'VirtualDubMod', quite a good tool....

Cheers....
