hi i have tried putting HC_NOSMP=0 in the rebuilder ini file,

but 2 HC Encoder's keep launching, and i can't watch my film without stuttering,

i have put HCEnc to lowest priority and put media player classic to highest priority but for some reason HCEncoder seems to be effected by spikes (Sensitive) and is not very smart when allowing other programs to have priority,

however i think windows may be having trouble because of both threads being utilized, and HCEnc can't resolve this problem because of 2 programs in different threads is in operation (no central hub to maintain CPU control)

so long story short, can some one help me find a way for rebuilder only to open just 1 encoder and not 2,

i thought HC_NOSMP=0 would do it, but DVD Rebuilder is still opening 2 encoders,

thanks,

AFAIK, "HC_NOSMP=0" does not prevent Rebuilder from launching more than one instance of HC. I believe that you have to disable "Multiple Encoder Processes".

thankyou, not sure how i missed that, don't use dvd rebuilder as much as i use to, so many options too keep track of,

thanks again, much appreciated,
