anyone have any experience on playing divx rips on a mac?

any pointers? i found a version of the codec for a mac, but it requires win media player for mac to be installed. bleaugh.

There is the divx4.11 alpha for the mac OS over at divx.com, but I'm not sure if you need media player for that too. It should be able to play back 3.11 content also.
