So I've got these .mkv files which I'd like to play on my xbox 360. It doesn't support mkv at all as far as I can tell. I've tried converting to various should-be-compatible formats using erightsoft's SUPER, but they rarely end up playing on the 360, and never with subtitles. What's the simplest way I could convert these to something compatible with the xbox 360 (http://www.xbox.com/en-us/support/systemuse/xbox360/digitalmedia/videoplaybackfaq.htm#avi), while keeping (or ripping/reinserting) subtitles?

This software i know will alow u to have the subs placed over the movie it self and i think it converts using xvid...
