Did lots of BD encodings, but some of the m2ts files with VC-1 stream give me a problem and no problems encoding H264 or MPEG2 streams. I have XP and I installed the VC-1 Demo codec from microsoft and I'm using DirectShowSource to encode the movie. The encoder either stops(hangs forever) somewhere in the middle or the whole screen is filled with green when the VC-1 stream is encoded.
Where can I find another VC-1 Codec or some other suggestions?
TX for your help and tips.

Howcome this m2ts file for example with VC-1 stream plays normally with PDVD or Nero Showtime, but it's full with green frames during playback with any other multimedia player and also after encoding. What could be the source of the problem?

There was a Problem with older a HaaliMediaSplitter Version on some VC1 EVO Streams.
Update Haali...
Imho WMVideoDecoder DMO is very stable for encoding/Directshowsource.

I second that.
WMVDecoder DMO works very well.
Media Player Classic Home Cinema also has a very good built-in VC-1 decoder (from libavcodec IIRC), and DXVA support.

TX for the tip! :-)
I upgraded to the latest haali splitter and the playback of the m2ts file on multimedia players is working fine. :D Fingers crossed that the encoding will be fine too. :)
