Is chroma optimizer still broken?

Is chroma optimizer still broken in koepi's build, 1.1.3 27-04-2008. and is there any disadvantages using 1.2-127 instead of 1.1.3, since 1.2-127 source is older than 1.1.3?

1.2.-127, and more recent, have better trellis, and multi-threading. 1.1.3 is a potential security bugfix over 1.1.2, and IIRC, the security patch is in the latest Xvid CVS anyways if you want to compile yourself (1.2.-127 is not the latest, there's been a few slight changes since then, but no big ones).

But, the chroma optimizer is broken in 1.2.x too, I believe. Someone wrote an AviSynth filter in this forum (search) that should do it right, just use that last if you really want it.

Thanks ranguvar, I found the plugin, v0.020 alpha, cant seem to find a newer version. i get better resuls without chroma optimize in the script and with chroma opt off in xvid.
