View Full Version : Does the rebuild function in EVOdemux fix the delay in different EVO files

My question is, if I have two evo files (Feature1.evo and Feature2.evo), the first one has -83ms audio delay and second one has -183ms audio delay, will the "rebuild" button adjust the auido delay in second file to -83ms before merging them? I know it would not adjust the delay in the first one as I tried, but if it doesn't adjust the second one, it will require extra work to get audio/video sound sync, such as cut, adjust, and merge again...

Also do I need to check "Adjust PTS of the EVOs to follow" before click rebuild to solve the sync problem?

Thanks.

Why not join them with eac3to?

Does eac3to adjust the audio delay of the second one automatically? Or there are some parameters I need to specify? Thank you.

eac3to will handle everything automatically and if doesn't just post in the eac3to thread and someone will help you promptly.

Eac3to is a great tool.

What with Joining EVO's stripping the pulldown and correcting any audio delays, blimey we're spoiled. And then it goes and converts to ac3 for you as well!

Thanks, I guess I will stick to eac3to then.
