Hi:
I have a VOB file and i want to add a little video clip inside the VOB file. Converting the video clip to a VOB file, I can split the original VOB file in two parts, and then join the tree files together (ie. VOB1stpart + videoclip.VOB + VOB2ndpart) , but the result is not as good as i want. The video stream works ok, but the other streams not. I understand that my original VOB file has "n" different streams, while the little video clip (once converted to VOB file before joinit) has only 2 streams.
FIRST QUESTION:
How can i edit the little video clip to put on it all the streams that the VOB file has?
SECOND QUESTION:
Could the IFO file be affected adding more video to the VOB file? Should i make a new IFO file?
THANKS FOR YOUR COMMENTS

Welcome to Doom9!

I'd use DVD Remake Pro (http://www.dimadsoft.com/dvdremakepro/index.php) for this. It can split and rejoin while taking care of your stream incompatibilities. Otherwise, make sure the DVD in which the clip is to be added and the clip have the same streams and do it in VobBlanker (http://jsoto.posunplugged.com/vobblanker.htm).

Both these apps will make new IFO files for you, which are a must. You can't just do this on the VOB level, by splitting and re-combining.
