Hello there,

I am wondering if it is possible to rip the background of a DVD menu without the words and everything to make into a movie file all on its own. The reason why is because I would like to make a screen saver from it, is this possible? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

No, it's not possible, the words are part of the video so there's no way to rip the background only.

Ah ok, well that's not a big deal really. Can you tell me how to rip the menu then?

Well, the way I would so it is to first rip the whole disc to the hard drive using DVD decrypter, then use PGC Demux to extract just the menu video you want.

Or set up DVD Decrypter in File Mode and highlight only the Menu for decrypting. Then demux it if necessary by opening it in DGIndex and then File->Save Project and Demux Video (perhaps also using the [ and ] buttons to isolate just the specific menu you want).
