What type of inputs does your CRT TV accept?

Is it HDTV, or is it NTSC / PAL only?

hiya MiSfit , my simple TV accepts Composite only it does have Component in aswell but doesnt work properly. It can handle 480i and does both NTSC/PAL.

If your TV only accepts composite, your choices are many.

Does your video card have a TV out?

indeedy , ive tried 1 of 2 that can do TV-out but have given up on it as the ASUS looks not so great. The other is a ATI but havent given it a shot as i think ill get similar results

ati cards have been historically better on TV outputs than nvidia cards. give it a shot.

Agreed. nVidia's TV out has always been.... not so good :)

Don't expect miracles over composite, but a decent card + decent cable should yield watchable results, hopefully with only a tiny bit of dot crawl :P
