I have always used VDMOD (1.5.10 and the last 1.8) to join avi files.

this time VDMOD gives this message of error:

---------------------------
VirtualDub Error
---------------------------
Cannot append segment "I:\Serie TV\Empire Falls\Empire.Falls.EP01.2005.HDRip.XviD-EDRP-CD3.avi": The audio streams use different data rates (48001 bytes/sec vs. 48000 bytes/sec)
---------------------------

what can I do? I have Demuxed the ac3 files of the two files, now what can I do?

this is what gspot says about the 1st cd

--- Audio Information ---

Audio Sample Rate (Hz): 48000
Audio Bitrate(kbps): 384
Audio Bitrate Type ("CBR" or "VBR"): CBR
Audio Channel Count (e.g. "2" for stereo): 5

and the 2nd:

Hi!EP01.2005.HDRip.XviD-EDRP-CD3.avi

If I may ask, why did you split this hard-to-find HD-DVD Episode One onto three CDs to start with, if you now want to re-join them into one .AVI?

I didn't split it. I found it in 3 different cd.
Sorry, I didn't read the rule 6. close the topic if it is against the rule of the forum. My fault.
