I want to lower the bit rate of the encoded audio, so that I can give more space to the video encoding. Anyway, I usually use MP3 128, but I decided to try and lower it. So, I tried MP3 96 and that worked. Then I tried MP3 64 and I got something (if I remember correctly) like a transcoding error. Anyone know what's up with that? Thanks.

It's probably just as well, since the audio quality of a 64kb/s track is terrible. Also, you will only see a savings of 30 MB in a one hour video by halving the bitrate of the 128 kb/s audio.

kbps... maybe. however have you tried AAC-HEv2 at 48 kbps or even at 32 kbps?
that means you have to use some other program since auto(gk) doesnt support it.
