I recorded some videos on my cell phone and they are in .3gp2 format. I put them on my computer and I'd like to be able to decode them to say Huffy or some type of lossless avi file so I can edit and convert to my choosing.

Any freeware tools floating about that can do this? Btw, what kind of audio is inside these .3gp2 files? My current ffdshow install w/ MPC, and VLC both cannot playback the audio.

The audio is probably AMR.

So how can I decode this video and possible AMR audio?

I'd like to get both uncompressed for editing purposes.

you need a 3gp splitter (IIRC haali media splitter can handle it), also you need to know in what format audio and video were recorded (use google to find in what video and audio formats your cellphone records with) then you need appropriate decoders for those formats.
more info on 3gp container can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3GP
