Hey everybody.
I didn't see any mention of the Technical Emmy that H.264 High Profile just got. It's nice to see foundational technology like this get some recognition. The Emmy TV audience gets an edited recap of the techncial awards during the main actors/shows broadcast, which will be a rare mass-market mention of codecs out in the world.
Although Microsoft is sometimes considered to be anti-H.264, our Gary Sullivan was on hand to accept the award; he's been chair or co-chair of the JVT for many years.
