turn off dct decimation with trellis>0

If I to use trellis=1 o trellis=2, I might consider turning off "dct decimation" in order best allow trellis to be the determining factor in what information gets dropped/skipped without interference from the other options.i t's is certain?

You can do this, but after some testing i see a very slighly benefit to using dct-decimate with trellis 2 (i don't know for trellis 1 but it should be the same)

It used to be recommended, at least with trellis 2, before psy-trellis. I would still test. If you're using psy-trellis, though, I at least find that leaving it on helps.
