Hi again this time the problem happens to file encoded by me and not on a one done by a friends of mine who is actually on vacation.
I make the file with gordianknot wit only one AC3 stream the file play fine with no audio sync issue.
The software used is VirtualdubMod and Xvid 1.1.2
I cut it in two pieces with VirtualdubMod and when I encoded the parts to mkv I receive the message about junk at the beginning of the AC3 stream on the second part.
If I rejoined the two files to one avi no problem and the audio is synced, but if I encoded to mkv I receive again the warning.
Because this junk byte doesn't appear to be considered in avi files is there a possibility to ignore them during mkv transcoding instead of introducing a delay?

Bye
