After I installed DVD-RB in Vista 32bit, I get an error message wben I start the program. It says that MSWINSOCK is not rsgistered correctly: a file is missing or invalid. Is there anything I can do? Thanks...

Vista uses a new network subsystem that can cause legacy applications that depend on Winsock to fail.
Having said that, do you mean MSWINSCK.OCX? If so, look in your system32 directory to see if it is there. If it is, open a command prompt window and use this command (from the system32 directory): regsvr32.exe mswinsck.ocx
Otherwise, try this Google search:
http://www.google.com/search?num=100&hl=en&lr=&newwindow=1&as_qdr=all&q=mswinsck+vista
There seems to be quite of lot of potentially useful links.

MSWINSCK.OCX is installed in the DVD-RB directory (typically "c:\program files\dvd-rb pro"). You may want to reference that one if you don't see it in the system32 directory.

Thank ypu for your help. I had to register MSWINSCK.DLL from a command window opened with "Run As Administrator" even though I am using an Administrator account.
Thanks again...
