Installable version of vista with breakable drm?

What versions of vista come with breakable DRM?

i.e. I have a Server 2003 setup that fairuse4wm works great in, but I have some media that only works in vista (The media center based Olympics to Go stuff), and my SP1 install (with 6001.7000), won't work with fairuse4wm or anything else that I can see.

Any ideas would be appreciated. I've tried the downgrade to Windows Media Player 10 idea, but that doesn't work for me (get un overwritable files, and install fails, even in safe mode, also gut tells me it kill media center which sort of defeates the point in this case).

I have Server 2003 running in a VM and that works fine for fairuse4wm for things that will work in it, but some things require vista, hence I was wondering if original vista would work (dont want to spend time installing only to find out it doesn't work).

I don't know but maybe you should clarify what you mean by "breaking drm". What sort of contents is protected and how would it be unprotected? Because you posted this question in the "decryption" subforum i assume you want to extract some keys used for decryption?

There's the olympics to go media center addon that's been released for Vista. It only works with vista.

While, I reversed engineered how to fetch all the files, they don't do me any good as protected by wmdrm.

So, playing them in windows xp, doesn't help as verifies that the olympics to go package was setup on the computer when it does the authorization.

they play fine in vista's window media player, but I want to remove the protection to enable them to persist. I'm trying to figure out if there's a version of vista that fairuse4wm works with so I can remove the protection. Is the answer no?
