Perspective plugin transforms a perspective view to front view. While Reform plugin also does similar work, it will correct only the specified part of image and blanks out the rest. Perspective on the other hand from the given parameters corrects the full image.
It is also possible to transform a front view image to Perspective. While just negating the coefficients it is possible to change from one to other transform, and the image can be recovered, it is true for very small values of coefficients only.
In test mode a clip of the desired frame is generated and overlain with a grid of dotted lines.Linear variation of parameters along clip is done. By finding at which frame these align with horizontal and vertical lineaments of the image, the parameter (s) values can be determined.
