Virtual VCR non zero 0

When I am trying to capture vhs via Virtual VcR it is creating video with a non zero start. So if I load the clip in Virtualdub it states that it assumes a non zero start.

If I load it in megui it states that it cannot decompress frame zero.

Is this something common with virtual vcr ? How do I get it to start at zero ?

I have tried it with different colorspaces RGB24 and yuy2. I am basically at a total loss of how it is doing it. Is anyone using a capture program that allows to use PicVideo format for capture is reliable and wouldn't have this error.

I have double checked myself against this guide http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/capture/capturing_VirtualVCR.html but seem to be line with all that it states.

I've captured many times with VirtualVCR (YUY2 colorspace). Virtualdub complaints about non zero start but handles the clip flawlessly. I don't care much about this complaint then. VirtualVCR is my preferred tool to capture. All the rest I've tried suffered audio/video desynchronization.

I don't use megui, then I cant help about this problem. But opening avi files through avisynt usually cures it.

If I create an avisynth script including a file captured from Virtual VCR and load it in VirtualDub it gives the same error as Megui - that it cannot decompress frame zero. It seems to be avisynth that cannot handle the VirtualVCR captures.

I like the simplicity of VirtualVCR as it still has all necessary config options but I cannot stop it capturing without the non zero start and as I want to use Avisynth this seems to be a prob, well for me anyway:).

If you can't get it in any way, I have the .exe only, but I don't know what is the current status of the software and would like to hear from a moderator fist if I'm allowed to share it.

Found the answer sadly is very easy. I just needed to adjust the settings in the AV Sync Tab and select adjust stream offset and choose the sub option to Sync using streams offset.
